I chase ephemeral peace.
Malcontent
and vibrating in a void.
Where with vindictive strength
at absolute zero
shame found me.

With salted fingers
clenched in fists,
sitting on an empty stair
sorrow... found... me.

With dissonance and harmony
in erratic syncopation
anger found me.

With relentless dogma
and complete inadequacy
religiosity found me

My choice taken
hands tied.
In a dark corner of grief
new mourning came.
